Baba Fareed Ji

His father was Sheikh Jamaluddin Suleiman and his mother was Bibi Fatima. From a young age, Baba Fareed Ji was known for his intelligence and love for knowledge. Spiritual Journey

Death

Baba Farid died of Pneumonia on the fifth day of the month of Muharram, CE 1266. Baba Farid was buried outside the town of Pak Pattan at a place called Martyr's Grave. He is fondly remembered as the father of Punjabi Literature.
